Stop Motion

I have been interested in working with video/stop motion for awhile, and finally pulled together my first attempt. I worked with my friend and fellow SCAD student Janna Linsenmeyer for this little piece. We had countless technical difficulties, but it was a lot of fun and I am loving the process. I can’t wait to make my next one…hopefully with all of the technical stuff out of the way I can focus on the creative process more and more. Thanks to Elise Hermmann for modeling, and Lucia Garcia for the beautiful piano piece this is set to. You can find more of her music here or her band here. Also thanks to Tom Sanders, Joshua Bross and Nasser Alqirsh for their help technically, and on set. This video was inspired by some of the photo projects I started, but have yet to bring to conclusion–and this piece is still a step to some larger project I feel calling me in the future.
